owl calls

I used to fall asleep to the soothing trill of a screech owl in the trees nearby. Then this week, my partner and I just finished settling our yurt in a new spot, and I already miss the little screechers. But the first night at the new spot, we heard the call of what we're pretty sure is a great-horned owl.

I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on owl terrritories, and how they may or may not overlap? Seems like maybe a great-horned could easily gobble a screech.
